In this course, you'll learn how to professionally and safely collect blood samples. We'll cover key topics like medical terminology, understanding the human body, and handling blood samples properly. You'll also practice different blood collection methods while focusing on patient safety and care. Phlebotomists are important in hospitals, blood donation centers, and labs. The hands-on part of the course will take place at a clinical site, where you'll get real experience by successfully drawing blood from patients at least ten times over three days.
Cisco NetworkingTraining Course
This course will help you get the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, an entry-level IT certification that proves you understand basic networking concepts. The course introduces you to the structure, models, and equipment involved in networks. You'll learn how to set up simple networks (LANs) and take care of networking gear like routers and switches. This knowledge is useful for working in IT positions, from large companies to small businesses.
Community Health Worker Training Course
As a Community Health Worker (CHW), you'll help people and their families find and use community services, support them in making healthier choices, and connect them with the care they need. Being a successful CHW means being friendly, respectful, and open-minded. CHWs can work in health centers, assisting with case management, patient education, and follow-up care, or for government and nonprofit organizations, helping with community outreach and health education. The hands-on part of the course involves volunteering at a warehouse for two days and participating in two Saturday distributions. Other options may be available if needed.
