Our KITCHEN with Missions Program:

This program is designed to increadse the employability of homeless and formerly homeless men and women through hands-on training, targeted educational opportunities and the development of social enterprise for the unemployed and the underemployed.

Kitchen with Missions program goals include:

The expansion of and capacity of our on-site commercial kitchen at Bread of Life to accommodate the real-life classroom, contracting catering and retail meal preparation opportunities,
To develop meaningful and research-based social enterprise options for individuals with employability challenges such as prior felony convictikons, substance abuse history, current or recent homelessness or inconsistent work histories
To provide hands-on food service training to 100 men and women during the contract period,
To launch a sustainable social enterprise model which will generate income for the organization and the clients that participate in the social model.
